Working closely with Production Designer Nathan Crowley, I helped illustrate & design the world of Wonka for Paul King’s fantasy origin story of this iconic character.
I spent almost a year on this project, working on the design of many of the locations featured in the film. My tasks ranged from producing artwork, animations, 3D layout/models to VFX ‘top-ups’ briefs. Finally I created an Unreal Engine / Virtual version of the hero sweetshop, allowing the cast & crew to explore the proposed set design, months before it was due to be built.
